The seared, smoky chicken adds depth, while the chewy ramen noodles soak up the delicious, umami-packed broth. Finished with a drizzle of chili oil and fresh green onions, this dish is the ultimate comfort food, perfect for chilly nights or when you’re craving something bold and satisfying

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts, boneless and skinless
  • Ramen noodles
  • Chicken broth
  • Heavy cream
  • Garlic, minced
  • Butter
  • Soy sauce
  • Chili powder
  • Paprika
  • Sesame oil
  • Green onions, sliced
  • Chili oil (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken with chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat butter and sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
  • Make the Broth:

    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
    • Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
    • Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes until smooth and creamy.
  • Cook the Noodles:

    • Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions.
    • Drain and set aside.
  • Assemble the Ramen Bowl:

    • Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
    • Divide the ramen noodles between bowls and pour the hot, creamy broth over them.
    • Top with sliced chicken, green onions, and a drizzle of chili oil for extra spice.

Notes

  • For a milder version, reduce the chili powder and paprika.
  • Use fresh or frozen ramen noodles for the best texture.
  • For a dairy-free alternative, replace heavy cream with coconut milk.
  • To make it extra spicy, add a spoonful of sriracha or extra chili oil.
