Mississippi Pot Roast is a zesty twist on traditional roast beef, made with ranch seasoning, au jus, and tangy pepperoncini. It’s rich, flavorful, and practically cooks itself in the slow cooker!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 lb chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 56 pepperoncini peppers
  • ¼ cup juice from the pepperoncini jar

Instructions

    • Place the roast in the slow cooker.

    • Sprinkle ranch and au jus seasoning packets over the top.

    • Add butter on top of the roast, then place pepperoncini and juice around it.

    • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until fork-tender.

    • Shred and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or rolls.
