Description

This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken is the perfect blend of savory, rich, and comforting flavors. Juicy pan-seared chicken breasts are smothered in a velvety garlic parmesan sauce, making it a restaurant-quality dish you can easily make at home. Serve it over pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies for an unforgettable meal in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 4 small-medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Sear the Chicken – Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove from the pan.

  • Make the Sauce – In the same pan, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the cream and add Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  • Stir in Parmesan & Spinach – Add the grated parmesan, stirring until melted and smooth. If using spinach, stir it in and let it wilt into the sauce.

  • Combine Everything – Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until fully heated through.

  • Serve & Enjoy – Serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

    • For a lighter version: Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
    • For extra depth of flavor: Add a splash of white wine or chicken broth to the sauce.
    • Storage & Reheating: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat.
    • Perfect Pairings: Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
