Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 4 small-medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Sear the Chicken – Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove from the pan.
Make the Sauce – In the same pan, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the cream and add Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan & Spinach – Add the grated parmesan, stirring until melted and smooth. If using spinach, stir it in and let it wilt into the sauce.
Combine Everything – Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until fully heated through.
Serve & Enjoy – Serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.
