  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
  • 12 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Brown the Beef:
    In a large skillet or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add garlic and sauté for another minute.

  • Add the Meat:
