Slow-cooked to perfection, this Texas-style beef brisket is juicy, smoky, and melt-in-your-mouth tender with a rich BBQ glaze that’s perfect for sandwiches or serving over mashed potatoes.

- 3–4 lb beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
Combine all dry spices and rub over the brisket.
Place brisket in the slow cooker and pour beef broth around it.
Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours or high for 5–6 hours.
Remove brisket, slice or shred.
Add BBQ sauce to slow cooker juices, return brisket, and toss to coat.
Serve warm with your favorite sides.
