Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Pineapple chunks and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Add chicken to the crockpot.

  • Whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce, then pour over chicken.

  • Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

  • Remove chicken and shred.

  • Stir cornstarch and water together, add to the sauce, and cook on high for 15 minutes until thickened.

  • Return chicken to the crockpot, mix well, and serve with rice. Garnish with pineapple and green onions.
