Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (optional for thickening)

Instructions

  • Place chicken in the slow cooker.

  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, basil, and pepper. Pour over chicken.

  • Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.

  • Optional: Mix cornstarch with water, stir into sauce, and cook on high for 15 minutes to thicken.

  • Serve with rice or steamed vegetables
