- 8 slices of whole grain bread
- 8 ounces of cooked bacon, crumbled
- 4 ounces of bleu cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce until well combined. Adjust the Sriracha to your desired spice level.
- Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Spread a generous layer of the Sriracha mayonnaise on each slice of bread.
- Top each slice with crumbled bacon and bleu cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is slightly melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, substitute the bleu cheese with cream cheese or goat cheese.
- Add sliced avocado on top for extra creaminess and healthy fats.
