This nostalgic cabbage casserole is hearty, budget-friendly, and pure comfort food. Layers of tender cabbage, beef, and a creamy sauce baked until bubbly perfection.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Paprika, for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brown beef with onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, and rice. Season with salt and pepper.
In a greased baking dish, layer cabbage, beef, and rice mixture.
Top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until golden.
