Classic sloppy joe filling meets crispy garlic bread in this cheesy, saucy comfort food mashup that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or game day.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf French bread, halved
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Spread garlic butter (butter mixed with minced garlic) on bread halves and toast until golden.

  • Top with sloppy joe mixture and shredded cheese.

  • Broil until cheese is melted. Garnish with parsley and serve.
