Description

Sweet and tart rhubarb layered over a creamy custard on a buttery crust—perfect springtime dessert!


Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour
  • granulated sugar
  • cold butter
  • eggs
  • vanilla extract
  • all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • milk
  • chopped rhubarb

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine crust ingredients and press into a greased 9×13-inch pan.

  • Bake crust for 15 minutes.

  • Whisk eggs, sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla for the filling. Stir in rhubarb.

  • Pour over baked crust and return to oven for 40–45 minutes.

  • Cool completely before slicing.

  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
