- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 orange, sliced
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey until dissolved.
- Add the fresh orange juice and ground cinnamon to the tea mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
- Garnish each glass with orange slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger orange flavor, add more orange juice or zest from the orange.
- You can substitute honey with agave syrup or stevia for a lower-calorie option.
- For a spiced twist, consider adding a few whole cloves or a star anise during the steeping process.
