Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the pizza sauce and mix well. Remove from heat.
  5. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly across the bottom.
  6. Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the beef mixture in a single layer.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperoni over the tater tots.
  8. Finish by sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  10. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
