This Orange Teriyaki Salmon is the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy! The salmon is coated in a rich, homemade orange teriyaki glaze and baked to perfection. A quick and delicious meal ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- ½ cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
Thicken the Sauce: Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the orange teriyaki sauce.
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, basting once halfway through.
Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with rice or steamed veggies. Enjoy!

- For a caramelized glaze, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes.
