These matcha chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with earthy green tea flavor paired perfectly with melty chocolate chips.

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
Mix in flour, matcha, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
