Description

These matcha chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with earthy green tea flavor paired perfectly with melty chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.

  • Mix in flour, matcha, baking soda, and salt until just combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes.

  • Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
