This quick and easy Korean-inspired dish features seasoned ground beef in a sweet, savory, and spicy sauce. Perfect over rice or wrapped in lettuce!

- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ginger. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Serve over rice, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by increasing or decreasing red pepper flakes. This also works great in lettuce wraps or rice bowls.
