Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, honey, garlic, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the flank steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice against the grain and serve.
