Description

A delicious and spicy recipe for Honey Sriracha Salmon Bowls, perfect for a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the honey sriracha mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is baking, prepare the bowls by dividing the cooked brown rice among four bowls.
  6. Top each bowl of rice with steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and sliced avocado.
  7. Once the salmon is done, place a fillet on top of each bowl and drizzle any remaining sauce from the baking sheet over the salmon.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
  • For a lighter option, substitute quinoa or cauliflower rice for the brown rice.
