Description

These 20-Minute Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders are sweet, savory, and irresistibly sticky! They cook up fast and deliver big flavor with minimal effort — perfect for busy weeknights or quick lunch cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional for tang)

Instructions

    • Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken tenders and sear on each side for 3–4 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

    • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

    • Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Let simmer for another 2–3 minutes to absorb the flavors.

    • Serve hot with rice, noodles, or vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra crisp edges, sear the chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • You can substitute maple syrup for honey if needed.
  • Add a dash of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
