Sweet, salty, and savory, these Asian Hawaiian BBQ Short Ribs are marinated in a flavorful soy-pineapple blend and grilled to juicy perfection.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs flanken-cut beef short ribs
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
Combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
Place ribs in a resealable bag; pour marinade over and refrigerate 6–8 hours or overnight.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Grill ribs 3–4 minutes per side.
Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- Can also be broiled in the oven.
- Serve with rice and grilled pineapple.
