This 5 ingredient garlic parmesan pasta is simplicity at its finest—creamy, cheesy, garlicky, and incredibly quick. It’s the perfect go-to for weeknights or when you need a satisfying side or main dish fast.
Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and enough reserved pasta water to create a silky sauce.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results. Add chopped parsley or chili flakes for extra flavor.
