Description

Garlic Parmesan Buffalo Wings are a crispy and flavorful dish that combines the heat of buffalo sauce with the rich taste of garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the spices.
  3. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
  4. While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the hot sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  5. Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of hot sauce or use a milder variety.
  • You can also experiment with different seasonings, such as adding a teaspoon of cayenne pepper for extra heat or using different cheese like blue cheese for a tangy twist.
