Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano (or thyme)
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Seasoning Mix: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano.
Coat the Salmon: Brush the seasoning mix evenly over each fillet. Drizzle melted butter on top for extra richness.
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
Notes
- Don’t overbake – salmon continues to cook from residual heat after being removed from the oven.
- For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes of baking.
- Pairing ideas: Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
