Description

These Crockpot Chicken Tacos are incredibly simple, juicy, and packed with flavor. Just toss a few ingredients into the slow cooker, let it simmer, and come home to the easiest taco night ever!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Corn or flour tortillas, for serving
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, chopped cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  • Add chicken breasts to the crockpot. Sprinkle taco seasoning on top.

  • Pour in salsa and chicken broth.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

  • Shred chicken with two forks and stir back into the sauce.

  • Serve in tortillas with desired toppings.

Notes

  • You can substitute salsa with Rotel or green enchilada sauce for a twist.
