- 8–10 flour tortillas, cut into strips
- ½ cup sour cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes with green chilies, taco seasoning, and cooked rice. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
- Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- Spread half of the tortilla strips evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spoon half of the chicken mixture on top of the tortillas and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle one cup of shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
- Repeat Layers:
- Add the remaining tortilla strips, followed by the rest of the chicken mixture. Top with the remaining cup of shredded cheese.
- Bake:
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with optional sour cream, diced avocado, and fresh cilantro.
