Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Prepare Crescent Dough: Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
- Fill and Roll: Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll tightly toward the pointed end, ensuring the filling stays inside.
- Butter the Rolls: Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter to create a golden, crispy crust.
- Bake: Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- For added flavor, use seasoned rotisserie chicken.
- If the filling feels too soft, chill it for 10–15 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
