Description

This pan-fried orange salmon is a zesty twist on a classic. Tender salmon fillets are cooked to perfection and glazed with a tangy, citrusy orange sauce that balances sweetness and acidity.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Season salmon with salt and pepper.

  • Heat oil in a pan and sear salmon, skin-side down, for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.

  • Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.

  • Return salmon to the pan and coat with glaze. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pair with rice or steamed veggies. Use blood orange juice for a vibrant twist.
