- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the rolled chicken pillows on a greased baking sheet. Brush each pillow with melted butter and sprinkle with seasoned bread crumbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding chopped spinach or diced bell peppers to the chicken mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
- You can also substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for a different taste.
