Ingredients

  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté sliced sausage until browned.

  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Stir in pasta, broth, and milk. Bring to a boil.

  • Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked.

  • Stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
