The ultimate comfort food mashup — creamy mac and cheese layered with juicy meatloaf and baked to cheesy perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 box macaroni and cheese mix (plus milk and butter for preparation)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper.

  • Press meat mixture into the bottom of the dish.

  • Bake for 20 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions.

  • Spread the mac and cheese over the partially baked meatloaf and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.

  • Bake another 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
