Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 box macaroni and cheese mix (plus milk and butter for preparation)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper.
Press meat mixture into the bottom of the dish.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions.
Spread the mac and cheese over the partially baked meatloaf and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Bake another 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Top with extra ketchup before serving for a classic meatloaf flavor.
