Cheesy Chicken Parmesan Casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines shredded chicken, marinara sauce, and a blend of cheeses, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour with half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.
