Description

A cozy, cheesy casserole loaded with tender chicken, egg noodles, and a creamy sauce — the perfect crowd-pleasing weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
    • 3 cups cooked egg noodles
    • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
    • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers (optional topping)
    • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional)

 


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Add cooked noodles, chicken, peas and carrots, and cheese. Stir to combine.

  • Spread mixture in a greased baking dish.

  • Top with crushed crackers mixed with butter, if using.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top

  • Add a dash of hot sauce or paprika for a kick.
