Ingredients
- 12 ounces bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Cook Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.Add Aromatics & Seasoning:
