Description

These elevated chocolate chip cookies boast rich, nutty notes from brown butter and perfectly chewy centers with crisp edges. A bakery-style favorite!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  •  
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups chocolate chips

Instructions

    • Brown butter in a saucepan, cool slightly.

    • In a bowl, mix butter and sugars until creamy.

    • Beat in eggs and vanilla.

    • Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.

    • Fold in chocolate chips.

    • Chill dough 30–60 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes.
