Description

Golden, crispy egg rolls stuffed with sweet blueberries and creamy cheesecake filling—these Blueberry Cream Cheese Egg Rolls are a delightful twist on dessert. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious, they’re perfect for sharing or enjoying as an indulgent snack anytime!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Oil, for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional garnish)
  • Sweet dipping sauce or whipped cream, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare Filling:

    • In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  • Assemble Egg Rolls:

    • Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Add about 2 tablespoons of cream cheese filling in the center, then top with 1-2 tablespoons of blueberries.

    • Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, tuck in both sides, and roll up tightly. Seal the edge with a dab of water. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  • Cook Egg Rolls:

    • Frying Method: Heat about 1–2 inches of oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

    • Air Fryer Method: Lightly spray egg rolls with cooking spray. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp and golden

Notes

  • Fruit Variations: Substitute blueberries with strawberries, raspberries, peaches, or mixed berries to suit your taste.
  • Make Ahead: Egg rolls can be assembled and frozen uncooked. Fry or air fry straight from frozen, adding an extra few minutes to cook time.
  • Serving Suggestions: Delicious with chocolate sauce, caramel drizzle, or vanilla ice cream.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated gently in the oven or air fryer until crisp again.
