Ingredients
  

For the Mix
  • 4.5 cups Chex Cereal Any type works; Corn or Rice Chex recommended.
  • 1 cup White Melting Wafers Can use white chocolate as a substitute.
  • cup Powdered Sugar Adjust according to your sweetness preference.
  • 2 cups Freeze-Dried Strawberries Can mix with blueberries or raspberries.
  • 2 tablespoons True Lemon Powder Can use True Lime or True Orange powder.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest Use fresh zested lemon.
For the Coating
  • ½ cup Extra Powdered Sugar Use to adjust sweetness.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Line two baking sheets with parchment or wax paper to cool the mix.
  2. In a large bowl, pour in 4½ cups of Chex cereal.
  3. In a ziplock bag, combine ⅓ cup of powdered sugar with finely ground freeze-dried strawberries and shake to mix.
  4. Melt 1 cup of white melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the Chex cereal and mix until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer coated cereal to the ziplock bag with strawberry mixture and shake.
  7. Spread coated cereal on one baking sheet and let cool for 30 minutes.
  8. For the lemon half, repeat process with another 4½ cups of Chex and ¾ cup powdered sugar with True Lemon powder.
  9. Melt additional white chocolate and coat the second batch of Chex in the same way.
  10. Combine both lemon and strawberry Chex together in a large bowl.
