  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice day-old rice preferred

  • 1 lb Beef or Chicken thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for high-heat cooking
For the Sauces
  • 4 tbsp Japanese BBQ Sauce can substitute teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce enhances umami flavor
For Freshness
  • 2 stalks Scallions chopped
For the Veggies
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables carrots, bell peppers, peas
For Aroma
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For Seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

  • 2 Eggs beaten
For Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds for topping

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  2. Cook the sliced beef or chicken for 4-5 minutes until browned, then transfer to a plate.
  3. Stir-fry minced garlic and mixed vegetables for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  4. Push vegetables to one side; scramble the beaten eggs in the cleared area for 2 minutes.
  5. Fold in day-old jasmine rice, cooking for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  6. Add cooked protein back with BBQ and soy sauce, stir for 2-3 minutes until glossy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds before serving warm.
