Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). This temperature is perfect for roasting garlic.
  2. Take a whole head of garlic and cut off the top. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt.
  3. Wrap the garlic tightly in aluminum foil and roast for 50 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  4. While the garlic roasts, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy.
  5. Remove the bacon and set aside. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté chopped shallots.
  6. Squeeze the roasted garlic into the skillet, add chicken broth and heavy cream. Season and simmer.
  7. Add gnocchi directly into the sauce and cook for about 8 minutes until tender.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with crispy bacon bits, parsley, and more Parmesan.
