Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 3-5 minutes until translucent.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed onion and garlic with sausage meat, sage, thyme, pepper, and salt. Mix until well incorporated.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into rectangles.
  5. Fill each pastry rectangle with a portion of the filling, roll tightly, and seal the edges.
  6. Slice diagonal slits on the tops of the rolls, then brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
