Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of pork sausage over medium heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  3. Spread the shredded hash browns evenly in the greased baking dish.
  4. Whisk together 1 packet of gravy mix and 2 cups of milk in a medium bowl until smooth. Season with black pepper if desired.
  5. Layer the browned sausage over the hash browns, pour the gravy on top, and sprinkle the cheddar cheese.
  6. Cut the biscuits into quarters and spread them over the cheese layer, leaving space in between.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
