Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare 2 cups of fresh rhubarb and spread it evenly in a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup self-raising flour, and 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  4. Mix in 1/4 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until a smooth batter forms.
