Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the pie crust.
- Arrange the cranberries evenly across the bottom of the crust.
- Sprinkle fresh orange zest over the cranberries.
- Whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until smooth, then mix in heavy cream, milk, orange juice, vanilla, flour, and salt.
- Pour the custard mixture over the filling.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the custard is mostly set with a slight jiggle.
- Cool for 1 hour and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
