For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce Gel or jelly form.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce Gluten-free option available.
  • 1 cup Guinness Beer; can swap for beef broth or cola.
For Side Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Red Potatoes Petite, substitute with other hearty veggies if desired.
  • 1/2 cup Dried Cranberries Raisins can be used instead.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs Rosemary and thyme for garnish.

Cranberry Holiday Beef Brisket Instructions
  1. Remove brisket from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Coat generously with olive oil and season with spice mix.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent. Stir in cranberry sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Guinness; simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Pour half of sauce into roasting pan, layer onion, then brisket fat side down, topping with remaining sauce.
  4. Arrange red potatoes and dried cranberries around brisket, cover with foil to trap moisture.
  5. Roast for 4 hours until brisket is fork-tender. Check for tenderness.
  6. Let brisket rest for 30 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with potatoes and sauce.
