Special Sauce Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine whole-egg mayonnaise, diced gherkins, Dijon mustard, ketchup, sweet paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until smooth and set aside.
Beef Filling Preparation
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and divide minced beef into 8 equal portions. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Tortilla Cooking
- Lay soft flour tortillas flat. Once beef is cooked, reduce heat and assemble each tortilla with cooked beef in center. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, spritz with olive oil, and cook each tortilla beef-side down for 2-3 minutes.
Cheese Melting
- Place slices of American burger cheese over the beef on each taco and let the residual heat melt the cheese for about 1-2 minutes.
Taco Assembly
- Remove tacos from skillet and top with shredded lettuce, sliced gherkins, and diced onion. Drizzle special sauce over the top and serve immediately.

Notes
For best flavor, let the special sauce chill and keep tortillas crispy with a light spray of oil before cooking. Customize tacos with additional toppings as desired.
