Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet for 3-4 minutes until it begins to render fat but is not yet crispy.
  3. Trim the ends of the green beans, blanch in boiling water with baking soda for 3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath.
  4. Drain dried green beans, mix with bacon drippings, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Wrap 6-8 green beans with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick on the baking sheet.
  6. Mix brown sugar with 1 tablespoon of water and brush it over each bacon-wrapped bundle.
  7. Bake for 20-22 minutes until bacon is crispy and beans are vibrant.
