- Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently until completely melted.
- Stir in 3 cups of mini marshmallows and continue stirring for another 3–5 minutes until fully melted.
- Remove from heat and add a few drops of food coloring, mixing thoroughly until the marshmallows are evenly colored.
- Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and gently fold in with a spatula until all cereal is coated.
- Scoop out about 0.5 oz. portions and shape them into egg forms with buttered hands, placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
- For different colors, clean the saucepan and repeat the melting, coloring, and shaping processes.
- Allow all shaped eggs to cool completely at room temperature before storing in an airtight container.
