  • 6 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal Substitute with puffed rice for gluten-free options.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently until completely melted.
  2. Stir in 3 cups of mini marshmallows and continue stirring for another 3–5 minutes until fully melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add a few drops of food coloring, mixing thoroughly until the marshmallows are evenly colored.
  4. Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and gently fold in with a spatula until all cereal is coated.
  5. Scoop out about 0.5 oz. portions and shape them into egg forms with buttered hands, placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. For different colors, clean the saucepan and repeat the melting, coloring, and shaping processes.
  7. Allow all shaped eggs to cool completely at room temperature before storing in an airtight container.
