  • 12 oz Frozen Spinach Ravioli Fresh ravioli may be used for a more tender bite.
For the Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Marinara Sauce Homemade sauce for richer flavor is recommended.
For the Filling
  • 3 cups Fresh Spinach Can be replaced with kale or Swiss chard.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella for extra stretch.
  • 1 tsp Cracked Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a medium skillet over medium heat and sauté the fresh spinach for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  3. Pour 3/4 cup of marinara sauce into the bottom of the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Layer half of the frozen spinach ravioli over the sauce evenly.
  5. Sprinkle sautéed spinach over the ravioli, followed by a generous handful of grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ravioli, adding more marinara sauce and parmesan on top.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes if using fresh ravioli or 30 minutes for frozen.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese is golden and crispy.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
