Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint

  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 red chili finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet and cook steak 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Rest, then slice thinly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk all dressing ingredients.
  3. In a large bowl, combine greens, onion, cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro, and mint.
  4. Top with sliced steak and drizzle with dressing before serving.

Notes

  • Use grilled steak for added smoky flavor. Adjust chili for desired heat level.
