Method
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add olive oil, then stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli and sauté for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pour sauce into skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
- Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- You can swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken.
- Add bell peppers or carrots for extra crunch and color.
