Method
- Place chicken in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, basil, and pepper. Pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Optional: Mix cornstarch with water, stir into sauce, and cook on high for 15 minutes to thicken.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables
Notes
- Use chicken breasts if preferred.
- Add sesame seeds or green onions for garnish.
